Living with an Amazig family (Berber family)
We will pick you up at the airport or Marrakech and drive towards Amlougui. On the way to the High Atlas we will visit a typical Berber market and then a Berber museum where we will learn more about their culture, history and way of life. Our guesthouse is located in the middle of the Berber village of Amlougui. Through our host family we have the opportunity to experience their daily life and to explore the impressive nature and beauty of the High Atlas while hiking and walking.

For good hikers, one of the most beautiful treks in the world
The High Atlas Mountains near Marrakech offer some of the most beautiful trekking in the world. This is a breathtaking 5-day trek in the High Atlas Mountains. We hike through a variety of landscapes, from lush valleys to barren cliffs. The route takes us through colorful Berber villages, over beautiful mountain passes and slowly ascending to our highest point at 3600m at the summit of Mount Meldsen. On the way back we will be able to admire the 3000 year old rock engravings of the Berber culture. An insider tip and until now still an untouched place in Morocco.
The trek will be accompanied by a Berber team: Mountain guide, cook, muleteers and mules for the luggage. The nights are spent in bivouac

Color & Culture Trip, Painting in the High Atlas Mountains
Morocco is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in art and culture. We will pick you up at Marrakech airport and then drive to the High Atlas Mountains where we will stay in the Amlougui guesthouse with our Berber family and thus experience authentic life. Here we spend the days, exploring the landscape and making our own color pigments and color pastes. With Ibrahim we will hike in the High Atlas and Cornelia will accompany you on the way of making color pigments, as well as creating pictures.
